How to Check Internet Explorer Dialup Settings

Open Internet Explorer.
Select Tools > Internet Options...
Select the Connections tab. Single click on the dialup account under Dial-up Settings. Then click Settings...
Click on the Advanced button.
Check to make sure your computers settings are the same as shown here. If any of these options are different this maybe be causing your Internet connection problems. Once you have reviewed these settings click OK and then OK to the next two settings boxes.
